Cookie Policy

CleanBox uses a small number of cookies and browser-storage entries to keep you signed in and to remember your preferences. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Essential storage

Auth session — your sign-in token is stored in browser localStorage so you stay logged in across tabs and reloads.
CSRF / session cookies — set by our backend during sign-in and OAuth flows.

These are required for the service to work and cannot be turned off.

Functional storage

UI preferences — small flags such as onboarding completion, kept on your profile in the database and (occasionally) mirrored to localStorage so the right view loads instantly.

Analytics

During beta we use lightweight in-product event logging (stored in our own database, not with a third-party tracker) to understand which features are working. No fingerprinting, no cross-site tracking.

Managing cookies

You can clear cookies and localStorage from your browser at any time — doing so will sign you out of CleanBox. If you'd like us to delete all data associated with your account, email support@cleanbox.app.
